The word ‘detox’ can be a little scary for some… and a lot scary for others! It usually means cutting out the things you love to eat or drink and replacing them with something bland and tasteless.

Overview of The Detox Plan Menus


Here are a few examples of the foods you will enjoy while losing weight with the Bodychef’s Skinny B Detox Plan:

Sweet potato and leek bubble and squeak

A colourful variation of an old fashioned dish. Nutritious home cut sweet potatoes contain beta carotene and vitamins A and C. Leeks, being from the same family as onions and garlic, can help lower cholesterol and maintain healthy circulation if eaten regularly.

Vegetable shepherd’s pie

Fluffy hand-mashed potato topping with a rich tomato and lentil base. Lentils are a great source of low fat protein, fibre, B vitamins, iron, folate, potassium and magnesium. They are a true wonder food!

Cauliflower and potato curry

Another tasty and authentic vegetable dish. Cauliflowers provide a good source of cancer fighting glucosinolates, with potatoes offering plenty of vitamin C, potassium and fibre.

Raspberry and strawberry mousse

A fresh fruit combination blended with honey and tofu to give a delightful healthy finish to any meal. Tofu is made from soya beans which can contribute to lowering cholesterol and even help relieve the symptoms of the menopause. Raspberries are one the best fruit sources of fibre.

Oaty apple crumble

A fresh fruit crumble with an oaty walnut topping. Apples are a real super fruit that can keep hunger pangs at bay, they measure up better than most fruits as the have a low Gi (Glycemic index). Oats share the same benefits as apples and contain soluble fibres that help lower cholesterol.

Blueberry and raspberry fool

Another blend of fresh fruits mixed with honey, vanilla essence and silken tofu. This dessert will give a sweet ending to any meal, while the blueberries provide vital antioxidants needed to help fight any number of illnesses and diseases.
