About Sylvia Hensher
Good nutrition can make the difference between you feeling just “okay” and feeling in top mental and physical form. Many people try to make positive changes to their own health or family health through diet and lifestyle. However, they are often confused by conflicting advice, and/or overwhelmed by complicated, unrealistic regimes.Using her professional expertise, Sylvia helps enable her clients to become active participants in the management of their health and well-being. She believes that the key to successful lasting dietary and lifestyle changes is to work with her clients to devise individualised dietary and lifestyle modifications that are practical for them in the long-term.
Sylvia has a first class honours science degree in Nutritional Therapy from the University of Greenwich and BCNH – the UK College of Nutrition and Health. She also holds a BSc in Sociology from the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science (University of London), which provides an ideal complement to her work as a Nutritional Therapist.
She belongs to the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy, the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and is a member of The NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners. Sylvia engages in continuing professional development on an ongoing basis to keep up-to date with the latest research developments and advances in nutrition. She has worked as part of The Nutrition Coach team in Harley Street, has written articles for various magazines, presents corporate workshops and seminars, and is also an academic tutor and lecturer for BCNH – the UK College of Nutrition and Health.
